The day 11 JULY is known as the World Population Day. The first World population day was celebrated on July 11, 1990. It was adopted in its present form during a meeting of the consituentAssembly held on 22 JULY 1947, and it became the official flag of the Dominion of India on 15 August 1947.In 1947, when India gained freedom from the British, a committee headed by Dr. Rajenfra Prasad decided to adopt the flag of the Congress as the national flag of India with a few medication (upcoming events).
